Something Wilder by Christina Lauren

If you’re looking for a book that has adventures, puzzles and romance, this is the right book for you.

Lily Wilder runs a treasure hunt tourist attraction in Utah, which she guides tourists on staged treasure hunts that she sets up, until a group of people come along that completely change things. Instead of going on the typical staged treasure hunt they follow clues Lily’s famous treasure hunting dad left for her.

This was a fun read, so much fun that I started listening to it on audiobook and when I ran out of my free listening credits on Spotify two thirds of the way through, I ran to the library to pick up a physical copy.

I’m a sucker for a book with puzzles. It made me feel like I was part of the treasure hunt, such a fun read! I am also thankful that I had to pick up a physical copy because towards the end there were some illustrations for the puzzles which I would’ve missed out on.

There was a sprinkle of romance throughout the book, nothing crazy though. I didn’t mind there not being a lot of romance because if it was heavier it would’ve taken away from the treasure hunt in my opinion.
