The Women by Kristin Hannah

Incredibly written historical fiction. I was invested from the beginning of the book. This was a 4.5 - 5 star book for me.

I haven’t read a historical fiction book in a long time and was a little nervous this would feel like homework. Kristin Hannah did a fantastic job making this an easy as can be read. 

Heavy topic, lots of loss, injustice. Etc. be prepared before diving in. There were plenty of times I wanted to throw this book across the room -also be prepared to have your emotions jerked all over the place. This book definitely put me in a bit of a funk, emotionally, and as good as the book was I am thankful to be done with it. I definitely recommend you read this book and have an uplifting book lined up afterwards!
